A vision insurance policy is not the same as medical insurance. Regular medical health insurance plans protect you against financial losses due to unexpected eye injuries or disease. Vision insurance, on the other hand, is a wellness benefit designed to provide routine eye care, prescription eyewear and other vision-related services at a reduced cost.

Indemnity Plans We Accept
Through this type of plan, patients are able to use their benefits at any eye care provider. Each plan will have different benefits. Some require patients to pay upfront and be reimbursed directly from the insurance company. Other plans allow the eye care provider to bill a portion of the cost to the insurance company, lowering the patients out of pocket expenses for that visit.
